Dickinson Room Queen Bed

I'm so glad I booked the Dickinson room and I wished I had been able to extend my stay by another night. Zero complaints, everything was lovely. Also greatly appreciated the collection of Dickinson's poetry. I'm definitely considering coming back some time in the future when I need a getaway!

The Dickinson Room was the perfect space for a weekend getaway. The room was comfortable with beautiful views, and the amenities made a perfectly cozy visit to Hobart. The dining area was absolutely lovely, and all staff was friendly and wonderful. We will definitely stay here again during our next visit.

The room is very cute. The experience seemed a bit quirky, but I enjoyed my stay. When I checked in the radiator and the electric heater were both off, and the room was very chilly. I would have appreciated an extra blanket for the bed. There were plenty of clean towels though, and I was able to add a couple between the sheet and the bedspread to sleep warm. The bathroom (with the radiator) was warm in the morning, but the bedroom stayed a bit cool. The water had a very strong sulphur smell. There was bottled water and seltzer in the room to drink and make coffee with, but I didn't want to wash my hair with the tap water. We were planning on eating at the restaurant on Thursday night, but it never opened. We were able to find another place to eat within a short drive. So a few bumps, but it was still a very pleasant trip.

My husband and I stayed hear for our anniversary and we felt so cozy in the Dickinson room with it's filtered light and warm wood beams. It happened to snow during our visit and we loved walking down main street in the flurry with a room and hot drinks waiting for us. Will be back!
